Emily was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. She moved to Edmonton in 2018 to further her studies, graduating from the Graphic Communications program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

As a biracial individual, Emily advocates for mixed-race communities. She is passionate about discussing the topic of identity crises, discrimination, and micro-aggressions that all multiracial people struggle with, including Indigenous and mixed Indigenous communities.

Emily freelances as a hobby in visual story-telling, logos/branding, and illustrations. When she isn’t making art, you can find her practicing yoga, cooking an ethnic dish, or preparing bouquets.
